AI live chat for salons, spas and beauty studios
MivoChat explains your services, prices, timings and policies to every visitor while you're mid-colour or mid-massage, then sends bookings and anything sensitive to your team in Telegram or the web inbox.
See it answer from your own salon website:
Example conversation: a client asks about balayage pricing and patch tests, MivoChat answers from the salon menu, and a bridal booking is handed to the team.
Why salons add chat
Salon questions arrive while every stylist is with a client. By the time someone replies, the visitor has booked somewhere that answered first.
Price and timing questions land while you're in the middle of a service, and wait for hours.
"Starting from" prices lead to the same questions about length, toner, and what's included.
Patch-test and cancellation rules exist, but clients only discover them after booking.
Real questions, routed well
Straightforward menu and policy questions get an instant answer. Anything that needs a stylist's eye goes to your team.
“How much is a cut and blow-dry?”
Answered by AI: Answered from your service menu
“How long does a full set of lashes take?”
Answered by AI: Uses the durations you publish
“What's your cancellation policy?”
Answered by AI: Quotes your policy in plain words
“Do you sell gift vouchers?”
Answered by AI: Explains how vouchers work
“I reacted to dye last time. Is it safe?”
Handed to your team: Sent to a stylist, no reassurance from AI
“Can I book Sophie for Saturday?”
Handed to your team: Routed to the team or your booking link
Features
Answers that sound like your front desk, and a handoff that fits between clients.
Services, starting prices, durations and what's included come straight from your own service pages.
Send visitors to your existing booking page, or collect a booking request on Starter and Pro.
Handed-off chats land in a Telegram topic, so you can answer from your phone in a two-minute gap.
Reactions, sensitivities and patch-test exceptions always go to a trained person.
Clients researching at 11pm still learn prices, timings and policies, and can leave their details.
Tourists and new residents can ask in their own language while your team replies in yours.

The practical guide
A client comparing colour services needs enough detail to choose the right next step, while a stylist may be mid-appointment. Use chat to explain the menu and policies clearly, then reserve consultation, suitability, and final-price decisions for the salon team.
Quick answer
Salon chat can explain services, starting prices, opening hours, policies, and the correct booking route while the team is with clients. MivoChat can collect an appointment request or link to a booking page, but it does not check live availability or take payment.
Start with the service menu, because most price and policy questions are answered there, then decide which requests need a stylist’s judgment.
Avoid one unexplained number for a service whose price changes with hair length, density, colour history, or stylist level. Publish a starting range by length or service tier, say what is included, and state when a consultation is needed. For example: “Balayage starts at $140 for short hair; medium and long hair are quoted after a consultation. Toner is listed separately.” Use the salon’s real figures and currency, not an estimate generated in chat.
On Starter and Pro, MivoChat can collect a quote request with fields such as service, hair length, and preferred contact method. The stylist should review the details and return a confirmed quote; the form does not calculate a service total.
Link the booking button to the salon’s live booking provider. On Starter and Pro, if you use a request form instead, describe it as a request and have staff confirm the slot after checking the calendar. Quick replies like “View the service menu,” “Request a consultation,” and “Read our cancellation policy” help visitors move to the right place without implying availability.
Put the cancellation window, late-arrival rule, and any deposit terms on a page that staff can keep current. If a fee depends on how late a client cancels or whether the slot can be refilled, explain the policy plainly and let a person handle exceptions.
List which services require a patch test, how far in advance it must happen, and how the client can arrange it. Do not tell someone that a treatment is safe for them based on a chat description. Questions about a previous reaction, allergy, irritation, or correction should go directly to a trained salon team member.
Away mode can set expectations when everyone is with clients: tell visitors when the salon reopens and whether routine requests will be answered then. Include a phone route for time-sensitive changes only if the salon can monitor it.
Use Insights and visitor ratings to spot missing detail: a cluster of questions about long-hair pricing may mean the menu needs a length guide; repeated cancellation questions may mean the policy is hard to find. Update the source page and test the answer again.
Keep gallery inspiration and service descriptions separate from promises. A photo is not a guarantee of an identical result, and chat should not replace a stylist consultation about colour history or suitability.
For a small salon, name the person who can approve a final colour quote and the backup who watches requests when that stylist is away. Check the booking link after service-menu changes, since a renamed treatment may no longer match the scheduler. If a visitor mentions an adverse reaction or a correction, do not leave them with a price range alone; collect the minimum contact detail needed and have a trained person reply. Use the salon's own cancellation language so customers can see whether a fee applies before they submit a request.
Visitor: “Can I get a fringe trim before my wedding next Saturday?” Chat: “The service menu lists a fringe trim at $25 and 15 minutes. I can’t confirm Saturday availability here. Please use the booking link for live times, or send a preferred time and the team will confirm.”
Visitor: “I had a reaction to a dye last time.” Chat: “I’m sorry to hear that. Please don’t book a colour service yet. I’m passing this to our team, who will contact you about a consultation and patch test. If you have symptoms now, contact a doctor or emergency service.”
These need a trained person who can see the client's history:
Start with the pages that answer price and policy questions, since those generate most of the early conversations.
Questions, answered
No live calendar is synced. Add your external booking link or collect an appointment request; salon staff must confirm availability.
On Starter and Pro, it can explain published starting ranges and collect details for a quote request. A stylist should confirm the final price after reviewing hair length, history, and the service requested.
Publish the salon’s patch-test process, then route personal suitability, allergy, and reaction questions to a trained team member.
On Starter and Pro, MivoChat can collect booking and quote requests, and it can link to your own booking page. On the trial, lead capture and quick replies are available, so visitors can leave contact details or follow a link to your booking page instead. MivoChat does not sync calendars, confirm appointments, or take payments; your team reviews requests and handles confirmation and payment in the tools you already use.
Yes. A team member can reply from the MivoChat web inbox or a connected Telegram group. Slack connections are in beta and require access.
Not yet. You can start the 14-day trial, but paid plan checkout and reply credit purchases are still coming soon. See the pricing page for the current plan limits.
